Great FT-100 site. Have used mine 1 week and love it. Also, I don't like cables out the back either. Plastic tie the 2 antenna coax's together and then the power and control cable with the 2 connectors tied one on top of the other. This helps alot. I am most interested in unblocking some receiver frequencies. Have seen one article, but waiting for confirmation as to best procedure.

One thing I can't get to work, the scanning delay. In "busy" and "tine" mode (Menu 3), scanning continues immediately after the squelch closes no matter the time delay set with Menu 5. Can anyone else confirm whether there is any problem with this function??? Maybe I am doing something wrong.
